Mr. Tunde M. Arisekola is the Senior Advisor for Geological and Minerals Information at the Africa Minerals Development Centre (AMDC). He is responsible for providing technical advisory services, shaping policies, and supporting programs aligned with the African Mining Vision (AMV).
Leading the development of the African Mineral and Energy Resources Classification management system (AMREC) and the Pan-African Resource Reporting Code (PARC2023), Mr. Arisekola excels in geological and minerals information systems, policy formulation, and geosciences professional certification standards development.
He oversees the Geological and Minerals Information Strategy (GMIS), monitors global resource classification frameworks, and builds partnerships with financial and academic institutions. Previously, he was the Director of the National Geosciences Research Laboratory in Nigeria and Vice Chairman of the UN Expert Group on Resources Classification (EGRC) under UNECE.
